Off-Center tongs are one of the few blacksmiths products that are still DROP FORGED in the USA

Originally Designed and drop forged by Grant Sarver of Off-Center Products on the west coast.  Now drop forged in our own shop in North Carolina.  After the passing of Grant we were honored with the opportunity to buy the contents of his shop so that we could carry on the famous Off-Center name that he had built for over a decade.

We drop forge and mate each half of our tongs for the best fit.  Each tong is sized specifically for the size that is it s designed for, but will hold many more sizes than what is marked on them.  The handles of our tongs are broader to increase the surface area resting on your fingers allowing you to work longer..
