Plain Square-Head Lag Bolts - grade 2, no finish, may have been oiled to keep from rusting.

Black Zinc-  Zinc Plating followed by Black Chromate -  (Best Corrosion protection) Black Chromates give Corrosion Protection to your Parts / Components (and to the Zinc Deposit / Coating). The Black Chromate Layer protects the Zinc Coating. Black Chromates also have some limited “Self-Healing” Properties which are useful in protecting your Parts against future "scratches" etc.  

Fully Threaded Bolt Note:  Our fully threaded bolts may have a very small area under the bolt head that is not threaded to ensure that the head does not snap off during installation as easily

Standard Thread Length - If you have a specific thread length you need please call to verify. The minimum thread length shall be equal to one-half the nominal screw length plus 1/2" or 6”, whichever is less.
