Plain Square-Head Lag Bolts - grade 2, no finish, may have been oiled to keep from rusting.
Plain Square-Head Lag Bolts followed by an appropriate post-treatment, provide limited added corrosion protection to the surface of the metal, prolonging service and increasing the shelf-life of stored parts.
Black Zinc- Zinc Plating followed by Black Chromate - (Best Corrosion protection) Black Chromates give Corrosion Protection to your Parts / Components (and to the Zinc Deposit / Coating). The Black Chromate Layer protects the Zinc Coating. Black Chromates also have some limited “Self-Healing” Properties which are useful in protecting your Parts against future "scratches" etc.
Fully Threaded Bolt Note: Our fully threaded bolts may have a very small area under the bolt head that is not threaded to ensure that the head does not snap off during installation as easily
