I can only review the Kanka Anvilo anvil/vise, as I've never even seen a Kanka Anvil. I bought this to serve as a stall-jack plus for my farrier business. When it arrived I was impressed by the heft and solid construction of it. Overall the fit and finish was on par with other vises priced well over what this one listed for. The vise part clamps true and tight. Maybe even a little too well, as it will leave marks on whatever you clamp in it. The checkering on the clamp face is aggressive and sharp. That is a good thing for me, maybe not for everyone. Soft jaw covers would solve that if needed. The clamp jaws are milled into the anvil, so they cannot be replaced. Just a note. I would not recommend this anvil for blacksmithing or forging -- get a real anvil for that, but it's a handy little tool for flattening horseshoes and making small adjustments quickly which is why I like it. I'm sure it would work just as well for setting rivets, bending small items, or any other light work. I can't say what kind of steel or ductile iron this vise/anvil are cast from. It is solid, and gives a decent amount of rebound for as light as it is.
