O1 Punch Steel - 3/8" Round

O1 tool steel is a oil hardening high-carbon alloy known for its excellent combination of high hardness, durability, good wear resistance, and minimal distortion during heat treatment. It is widely used for blacksmiths punches and chisels.

• Rockwell range after Hardening = 56- 62 Hrc

While easier to heat treat than S7, which air hardening, it does not hold shape as well at higher temperatures.
