These are the traditional/original German Peddinghaus version not the French version sold by others.
German forged full duty tongs made as they have been for 1/2 a century.

German Wolf Jaw Tongs

Bought the 500mm Wolf Jaw Tongs recently. They appear to be drop forged, good quality, and heavy duty. The tongs have some heft to them guess that is because they are 20 inches long and not very flexible. I am having to practice turning them in my left hand due the weight of them. May have to take some weight out of the tongs to make them more flexible and easier to use till my left hand gets stronger. The tongs can grip flat stock along with 3/8ths rebar safely and quarter inch square stock if you are smart about it.
