Head weights for forging hammers are as follows:
- 100 gram = 0.22 lb.
- 300 gram = 0.66 lb
- 500 gram = 1.1 lb.
- 600 gram = 1.32 lb.
- 800 gram = 1.76 lb.
- 1000 gram - 2.2 lb.
- 1500 gram = 3.3 lb.
- 2000 gram = 4.4 lb.
- 3000 gram = 6.6 lb.
- 4000 gram= 8.8 lb
- 5000 gram = 11 lb.
- set includes 1000, 1500 & 2000 gram hammers
Forged in France or Germany (MOB or Picard)
All cross pein hammers have hickory or Ashe handles except Nertech
Nertech is a fiberglass, polyprpolene, elastromere handle which is ergonomic and absorbs the shock to your forge hammer.
