While this blower is highly popular with forge builders, there is no one blower that works for all situations. Therefore we cannot refund shipping unless product is defective, which would be analyzed upon return of product.

Got this for my antique farrier forge

I got this to replace the hand blower in my old US Calvalry portable farrier forge. The hand blower gave out.
It has turned out really well.
I had to do some jury rigging to get the hoses connected but once done -- the results have been stupendous.
My fire gets hotter and takes less tending.
My sessions are more productive
BECAUSE
This fan sits there and Just works.
Puts out plenty of air for my coal forge.
Never falters.
It is not super quiet but neither is it annoyingly loud.
And if I haven't mentioned it --- this electric blower works fine for a 4 or 5 hour session. I never achieved a four hour session with my hand blower.
reasonable priced product that works really well.

I haven't put it to work yet but I did test it. It runs very smooth and puts out a lot of air. Even closed off completely, it puts out a generous supply of air. For my small forge it will be plenty sufficient if not over kill. It appears to be of good quality and well built.
