Blacksmith Model #50000 Propane Forge with single metering valve.
The Blacksmith propane forge provides the greatest versatility for blacksmiths and farriers. Our deluxe model, this blacksmith propane forge is perfect for production and shop use and is a popular competition forge. Its versatility can also come in handy in the field for both blacksmiths and farriers. This blacksmith gas forge has openings on both ends to accommodate long pieces of barstock for fast production work. The tight fitting, insulated door on the blacksmith propane forge minimizes heat loss so that the steel gets hot faster while you stay cooler.
This Forgemaster gas forge model is a double burner with 2" x 2.5" side ports and a solid front door.
Single valve control vs. Dual - designed to adjust flame for each burner. NOT for shutting one burner off. Burners are either in use or can become and outlet as heat rises and pressure insde chamber builds. If the chamber was designed to run with two or more burners. Having less do the work is inefficient unless you fill the chamber with brick to make chamber smaller.
