AISI / SAE 4140 tool steel round bar blanks are annealed and ready for forging or machining hammer heads. 4140 is a tough and resilient tool steel that is easy to heat treat.
- 1.25" Round x 3" long = approx 1 lb.
- 1.5" round x 3.5" long = approx 1.8 lbs
- 1.75" round x 3.5" long = approx. 2.5 lbs
- 2" round x 4" long = approx. 3.5 lbs
- 2.25" round x 4.5" long = approx. 5 lbs.
- 1.5" Square x 3" long = approx 2.2 lbs
- 1.75" Square x 3.5" long = approx. 3.5 lbs
- 2" Square x 4" long = approx. 5 lbs

As mentioned above...great price on 4140 square hammer blanks...square 4140 stock is very hard to find...these come already cut and sized , ready to forge...and I have to say the customer service is excellent...Cathy replied very very quickly to every email and question I asked..thanks again Cathy
