The Black Juma® Gem Scales offer excellent workability, including drilling, milling, grinding, and polishing. They have low breakage due to a high modulus of elasticity and a homogeneous structure. The scales feature a high-quality surface thanks to their hardness and low abrasion loss. They are resistant to many common substances, such as detergents and oils, and have low water absorption. Additionally, they can be thermally shaped in boiling water.
